"Hype" is a difficult concept to measure. Passion about a product or a brand is something that is rarely associated with data. Stockx.com is a kind of stock exchange for objects whose value tends to fluctuate over time. And for the first time, we are seeing a more data-oriented approach to the coveted hypebeast market. Building a portfolio and monitoring the value of the sneakers I love was the starting point. Here I wanted to make sure that the sneakers chosen were also collaborations of the artistic mentors who inspire me. It is a symbolic way of “taking a few steps in their shoes” while displaying the current hype of these collectibles. In short, this "Hype Portfolio Machine" is made to display in real time with a Raspberry Pi 3 the current value of the collabs of the sneakers that I like.
